Speaking of Ohagi, I associate Obon. There is an image of offering ohagi to Buddhist altars, graves and Shinto altars.
おはぎと言えばお盆です。仏壇やお墓や神棚におはぎをお供えするイメージがあります。

このお盆休みは何をするのかというと、故郷に帰ったりお墓参りやお墓の掃除をして先祖にお礼を行ったりします。この時期の海水浴はクラゲが発生したり、台風の影響で海や川の波が荒くなり水難事故に遭う確率が高くなります。13日にご先祖様の霊がこの世に帰ってきて、16日にあの世に戻ってゆくとされていて、お盆に水難事故に遭うのは連れていかれるからなんだとか言われています。死者の魂が現世の家族に会いに来るという意味では、日本のお盆はハロウィンに似ていますね。日本では仮装バーティはしませんが。

It touched the hearts of those who could not enjoy their youth due to the restrictions of the corona disaster.
この日は甲子園の最終日でした。甲子園とは高校野球が行われる兵庫県にある球場のことですが、選抜高校野球全体をまるっと『甲子園』と呼んでいます。日本ではサッカーよりバスケよりアメフトよりも野球が長年の根強い人気で、夏はこの甲子園がむちゃくちゃ盛り上がります。昨年は仙台育英高校が東北勢初優勝を果たしました。監督が優勝インタビューで語った「青春ってすごく密なので…」というセリフが有名になりました。コロナ禍の制限で青春を謳歌出来なかった人々の心に響きました。
